Kihuhwi train station

The Kihuhwi station is a station on the Usambara , the first German railways in what was then German East Africa and in present-day Tanzania .

Teak has been grown in the vicinity since 1909 at a height of 200–250 m above sea level . In 1916 there were already 15 hectares of teak plantations. There are also two sisal farms that have been nationalized since 1967 .
