Killatu järv , also Kiljatu järv , Suurjärv , Kiljatu Suurjärv or Kilatu järv , (järv = lake) is a natural lake in the rural municipality of Saaremaa in the Saare district on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . One kilometer from the 40.2 hectare lake is the town of Kuralase and 530 meters away is the Baltic Sea . With a maximum depth of one meter, it is very shallow. The only island in the lake is 0.2 hectares in size.
