Killingly Pond State Park , the area around one of the lakes of the Wauregan Reservoir, is a state park in the US state of Connecticut in the area of the municipality of Killingly . The Killingly Pond and Protected Area cross the Rhode Island border and continue into the Glocester area . Killingly Pond itself covers an area of 122 acres (49 hectares). It drains through the Middle Reservoir and the Whetstone Brook to the Quinebaug River .
free time activities
Fishing, boating, and hiking are available in the park. Fish species are: chain pike , largemouth bass , black bass , sunfish and American river perch .
