Kilsbergen is a mountain range between the historic provinces of Närke and Värmland in central Sweden .

The ridge, which is up to 298 meters high, acts as a watershed between the rivers of the Baltic Sea and the Kattegat . The ridge stretches 25 kilometers in a straight line from Nora in the northeast to Mustio in the southwest. Kilsbergen is a popular sports center in Örebro County . There is the Bergslag Trail , approx. 50 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails and several downhill slopes.

In the past, iron ore was mined here on a large scale .
