Kim Min-kyun (born June 11, 1989 ) is a South Korean sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Kim Min-kyun gained his first international experience at the Summer Universiade 2009 in Belgrade , where he was eliminated in the quarter-finals over 100 meters with 10.67 seconds. Two years later the first round of 100 and 200 meters followed at the Universiade in Shenzhen . In 2015 he reached the semi-finals over 100 meters at the Military World Games in Mungyeon and was eliminated in the first round with the South Korean 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta with the relay for the first time and finished fifth in 39.10 s.

In 2012 and 2013, Kim became the South Korean champion in the 100-meter run.
