Kincardine-in-Mentieth Parish Church
The Kincardine-in-Mentieth Parish Church is a church building of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland near the Scottish village Blairdrummond in the Council Area Stirling . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A. The church is still in use as such today.
history
Opposite the current location, there has been a church building since the Middle Ages , which was originally under the Cambuskenneth Abbey . The current building was built between 1814 and 1816 based on a design by the Scottish architect Richard Crichton . Various sculptures from the previous building were installed in the Kincardine-in-Menteith Church after completion. In the 1880s the building offered 770 seats. In 1907 it was revised by Harold Ogle Tarbolton .

The Kincardine-in-Menteith Parish Church is isolated around one kilometer west of Blairdrummond in a rural region of Stirling directly on the A84 . It is a three-aisled hall church , which is designed in the neo-Gothic Perpendicular style . Their flanks are three axes wide. The smaller choir continues on the east side , while the bell tower is in front on the west side.
