The Poti Children's Railway was a three-kilometer-long, narrow-gauge children's railway in the Georgian town of Poti . The railway was probably in operation from the mid-1980s to 1991.

history

The children's train was in Maltakwa Park near the city hospital. It opened much later than other pioneer railroads in either November 1985, May 1986, or May 1987. Since it was not included in the official statistics of the state railways, it remained practically unknown outside of Poti. However, like other pioneer railroads, it was run by students under adult supervision.

Rail vehicles

  • Diesel locomotive TU6
  • Possibly also a TU7 diesel locomotive
  • 6–7 Pafawag PV40 passenger cars
