Children's Post (magazine)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kinderpost was published as an Austrian children's and youth magazine from 1946 to 1959.

With the zero number in December 1945 and publications from 1946 onwards, the Kinderpost pioneered the Austrian children's magazines of the post-war period . The magazine, which was published by the publisher couple Hans-Fred Handl and Gerda Handl until 1949/50 , was the benchmark for the magazines founded below: Our newspaper (close to the KPÖ) and Wunderwelt . The initial sales success of the children's post office was soon reduced by competition. At first, Wunderwelt was able to establish itself as a renowned magazine among Austrian children's magazines, then, from 1951, Mickey Mouse, published by the German Ehapa publishing house, took offregardless of all the reservations of educators, noticeable as an increasingly powerful alternative .
