The children's potty or diminutive the children's potty or usually short potty , in Swiss Hafen (children's language Häfi, Häfeli ), is used by small children to learn the transition from the diaper to the toilet for adults. In contrast to the chamber pot , the children's pot allows comfortable sitting thanks to its wide edges. There is a great variety of shapes and products, most models have in common a splash guard pulled up on the front. Some models have a small backrest. Children's pots are usually made of unbreakable plastic, e.g. B. made of polypropylene. Other features are tipping safety and rounded corners and edges that make cleaning easier. In order to increase acceptance, many models are designed to be child-friendly in terms of color and shape.
