Pediatric urology
The pediatric urology deals with urological diseases that occur especially during childhood.

Kidneys , ureters , urinary bladder

- Vesicoureteral reflux , megaureter , neurogenic bladder
- Tumors: e.g. B. Wilms tumor
- Functional problems: e.g. B. enuresis , urinary incontinence

- acquired diseases: e.g. B. Urethral stenosis
- male reproductive organs
- z. B. undescended testicles , hydrocele , phimosis , testicular torsion , hydatid torsion
- Tumors: e.g. B. Testicular tumors
Pediatric urology in Germany is carried out by two specialist areas: pediatric surgery and urology . There is no separate training regulation. The basics of the field are taught in the advanced training in pediatric surgery and urology. Further specialization takes place through work at a corresponding center.
