The King Davids Peak (also: Western Wall ) is a mountain in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania . It is located in the center of the Walls of Jerusalem National Park and is the 10th highest mountain in Tasmania.
Like other landmarks in the national park, e.g. B. Herods Gate, Lake Salome, Solomons Jewels, Damascus Gate and Pool of Bathesda , King David's Peak is also named after biblical places and characters. The mountain got its name after King David . Alternatively name 'West Wall' is from the Western Wall (ger .: Western Wall) in Jerusalem derived.
The mountain is a well-known attraction in the national park and popular with hikers and mountaineers.
