Chin lymph nodes

The chin lymph nodes ( Nodi lymphoidei [Nll.] Submentales ) are a group of lymph nodes on the chin of humans, between the anterior bellies of the Mm. digastrici in the submental trigonum . The catchment area (tributary area) is next to the chin, the lower lip , the floor of the oral cavity and the tip of the tongue . Lymph drainage is via the mandibular lymph nodes to the deep cervical lymph nodes .
