Kinoshita Rigen
Kinoshita Rigen ( Japanese 木 下 利 玄 , real name: Kinoshita Toshiharu with the same spelling; * January 1, 1886 in Okayama Prefecture ; † February 15, 1925 ) was a Japanese poet.
Life
Kinoshita began writing tankas under the guidance of Sasaki Nobutsuna when he was young . With Arishima Takeo , Shiga Naoya and Mushanokōji Saneatsu , he founded the literary magazine Shirakaba ("White Birch") in 1910 . His most famous collections of poetry were Kōgyoku ( 紅玉 ; 1919) and Ichiro ( 一路 ; 1924).
