Kinranshi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kinranshi (dt. Golden Cloudy Eye ) is a cultivated form of the goldfish from Japan . It is characterized by a special glow-colored reflection of the light on the back. This play of colors is underlined by the missing dorsal fin. The first varieties of this kind are said to have originated in 1902–1903 by the Japanese breeder Kichigoro Akiyama. It is a cross between the goldfish cultivated forms Ryukin and Ranchu .
