Ignaz Hofmacher

Ignaz Hofmacher (born September 7, 1950 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1994 to 2007 Hofmacher was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Hofmacher attended a secondary school and then an agricultural vocational school. He then worked as a metal worker and farmer. He was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

In the political field he worked as a managing councilor from 1987, and between 1992 and 2008 he was Vice Mayor of Waidhofen an der Ybbs. He also represented the ÖVP in the state parliament between November 10, 1994 and June 10, 2007. From 2003 onwards, Hofmacher held the position of health spokesman within the ÖVP state parliament club.
