The Church of the Intercession ( Ukrainian Покровська церква / Pokrowska zerkwa ) is an Orthodox church in the Ukrainian capital Kiev .

The Church of the Intercession was built from September 14, 1895 to November 9, 1897 in memory of the Metropolitan of Kiev and Halych Platona Horodezkoho by the architect Ipolyt Nikolayev. The church is an architectural monument of local importance and is located on Wulytsja Mykoly Ostrowskoho ( Вулиця Миколи Островського ) 20/1 in Solomyanka district near Kyiv-Passashyrskyi Railway Station . It belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate , Eparchy Kiev ( Київська єпархія УПЦ КП ).
