The seat of the superintendent was in Frankfurt (Oder) . The parish of An Oder and Spree belonged to the Görlitz district of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia .
The Ecclesiastical Administration Office Frankfurt (Oder) also took over the administrative tasks for the parishes of the church districts Fürstenwalde-Strausberg and Oderbruch . On January 1, 2014, the three church districts were merged to form the Oderland-Spree church district.
