Coordinates: 58 ° 26 '44.75 "  N , 14 ° 57' 35.93"  O The Kirchenruine of Klosterstad is obtained today only as ruin (schwed Ödekyrka.) Rundkirche from the second half of the 12th century.

It was discovered during excavations in 1997 near Klosterstad in the municipality of Vadstena in the Swedish province of Östergötland County . The round church was preceded by a wooden church that was located during excavations between 2001 and 2003. Previously, limestone fragments of grave stones with inscriptions have been found with dragon motifs that were close to a church. The round church was destroyed by fire between 1561 and 1567.

The church is comparable in size to the round churches in Skörstorp and Voxtorp and had an inner diameter of about nine meters. In the east, a semicircular choir was added to the round house and a wooden armory was later built in front of the previous entrance in the southwest.
