geography
The coastal city is located in the southern part of the Canelones department in sector 37 . It borders with its southeast side on the Río de la Plata . On the continuing to north east coast section immediately closes El Bosque , while in the interior at the northwest end El Bosque Solymar has a common border with city Lagomar. In the southwest of Lagomar you can find San José de Carrasco on the coast .
Infrastructure
Lagomar is on the south side of the Ruta Interbalnearia .
