Kishine Park

Kishine Park ( Japanese 岸根公園 , Kishine-kōen ) is a municipality Kohoku in Yokohama situated artificial park.

This park was created in the 1970s as part of the progressive urbanization of the Kōhoku district. The opening took place in April 1971. In addition to sports festivals, traditional Japanese summer festivals ( O- Matsuri ) take place in the 140,587 m² Kishine Park .

The park is particularly popular with families with children who spend their Sunday here. Kishine-kōen can be reached with the urban subway . From the station of the same name it is approx. 300 m to the heart of the park.

It is a 10-minute walk to the new Shin-Yokohama ( 新 横 浜 ) district with the station of the same name, from which the Japanese Shinkansen high-speed train departs both east and north.
