The Kitab-i-panj sha'n is one of the sacred books of Babism .

The book was written by Bab , the founder of the religion of Babism , and is one of his most important and last works. It was written in the period from March 19 to April 4, 1850 in Chihriq , shortly before the execution of Bab in July 1850 in Tabriz , written. A five-part section was written each day. A German translation is not yet available.

The book consists of 85 chapters with 17 sections, each named after a name of God. Each section has five parts: Verses, Prayers, Sermons, Commentaries, and Persian Sections. Each section is addressed to a different person and was written on a different day. Among other things, the Bab addresses itself to Yahya Azal , who claimed to be the God-promised successor of the Bab.
