The Kitami Beach ( Japanese 北見浜 Kitami-hama , German , North beach ' ) is beach of Antarctic East Ongul island in the archipelago Flatvær . It is located in the southern section of Nishino-ura Cove .
Aerial photographs and measurements by a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962 were used to map it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the Japanese name into English in 1968.
