Kitipon Kitikul

Kitipon Kitikul ( Thai : กิตติ พ น ธ์ กิ ติ กุล ; born September 9, 1975 ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In 1996 Kitipon Kitikul competed in men's singles at the Olympics. There he won his first round match against Todor Velkov from Bulgaria with 15: 7 and 17:15. In the second game he was defeated by Fumihiko Machida from Japan with 7:15 and 11:15 and thus finished 17th in the men's singles.

Nationally he won the Thai Championships in 1998 in men's doubles with Khunakorn Sudhisodhi , which, however, should remain his only title there. With Sudhisodhi he also won the 2000 Swedish Open . In 1997 they had already won bronze in doubles at the Southeast Asian Games.
