Kiva Lvovich Maidanik
Kiwa Lwowitsch Maidanik ( Russian Кива Львович Майданик , also transcribed Majdanik ; * January 13, 1929 in Moscow ; † December 24, 2006 ibid) was a Soviet historian and political scientist specializing in Latin American studies .
He worked at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations at the Russian Academy of Sciences . Maidanik published several monographs and numerous magazine articles on political developments in Latin America.
