Kjelen is an uninhabited island in Norway and belongs to the municipality of Nordkapp in the Norwegian province of Troms og Finnmark .

It is located immediately east of the island of Magerøya in a small bay about 130 meters from Kjelvik in the Porsangerfjord . Kjelen extends from southwest to northeast over about 280 meters with a width of up to about 60 meters. The barren, rocky island is sparsely overgrown and in its southwestern part reaches a height of up to 30 meters.
