Klützer Gold

Klützer Gold is the name of a type of cheese that was produced in a cheese dairy between Klütz and Kalkhorst in the Klützer Winkel during the GDR era and since July 9, 2005 by the initiative of the Dutchman Jack Koopman on the occasion of the 775th anniversary of the two places experienced a revival.

Klützer Gold is a yellow, high-fat (50% FiT ) cheese with a very penetrating, characteristic smell and an intense, likewise characteristic aroma. Limburg cheese is similar .
