Kladské rašeliny
Kladské rašeliny ( Glatzener Moor ) is a national nature reserve in the Czech Republic near Kladská north of Lázně Kynžvart ( Bad Königswart ) in the Imperial Forest (Slavkovský les). In 1933 the peat bogs, which form a huge water reservoir - from which the mineral springs of Mariánské Lázně ( Marienbad ) are fed - were placed under nature protection. The nature reserve consists of the sub-areas Lysina (42 ha), Tajga (130 ha) and Paterák (92 ha).
The nature reserve consists of three peat bogs, of which the smallest (Lysina) is the most remarkable with 42 hectares. Here, u. a. Sundew , mountain pine , cranberry and bogberry . The water that feeds the springs of Lázně Kynžvart (Königswart Spa) also comes to the surface as groundwater.
