Klara Motter

Klara Motter (born October 1, 1935 in Lindau ) is a former Austrian politician (initially FPÖ , from 1993 LIF ).

After completing compulsory schooling, she completed a commercial apprenticeship. Motter later became a dental assistant.

Political career

Motter was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1976 to 1979. In 1982 she was elected deputy federal party leader of the FPÖ, a position she held until 1992. From 1986 to 1999 Klara Motter was a member of the Austrian National Council . She was a politician for the Freedom Party until 1993, when she became a founding member of the Liberal Forum with Heide Schmidt and others .

In view of her age, Motter had declared before the National Council election in Austria in 1999 that she would no longer apply for a political mandate.
