Claw wings
The claws wings , as Klauflügel called, is in the Heraldry a common figure . The coat of arms figure has two different forms of representation in the coat of arms .
- Once on a bird's leg, primarily an eagle's claw, a raised eagle's wing, equal to half the heraldic flight , is shown in the coat of arms. The wings and legs of the birds are usually colored differently . A representation in the upper coat of arms is also possible.
- The other time a wing (half flight) is spread out to fill a shield and a claw of the same color, often designed as a human hand, wields a weapon such as a sword . The position of the sword hand must be indicated in the description of the coat of arms .
Option 1: claw wing, eagle catch with half flight ( Kopacz )
strongly stylized, shafted ( Náměšť na Hané )
Variant 2: claw wings, sword-swinging ( de Moncey , family coat of arms)
