Klaus F. Schneider

Klaus F. Schneider (born December 2, 1958 in Mediasch , Romania ) is a German poet and writer .

life and work

Klaus F. Schneider studied German and Romance languages ​​in Klausenburg from 1978 to 1982 . During this time he was the editor of the German-language section of Echinox magazine . After that he was a teacher in Medias . Schneider moved to Germany in 1987. He has received several prizes and grants, most recently the Dahon Förder Award for Europe in 2005.

Schneider writes poetry and prose and translates from Romanian. He published humorous and grotesque prose under the pseudonym Klaus Thaler .

Klaus F. Schneider lives in Stuttgart .
