Klaus Always

Klaus Immer (born March 9, 1924 in Manslagt ) is a German farmer and politician ( GVP , SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Immer took part in World War II as a soldier in 1944/45 . He then completed an agricultural training and studied agriculture at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . He was estate manager from 1950 to 1952 and worked as a consultant in 1952/53. From 1953 to 1959 he was rural youth officer of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland and since 1959 lecturer and manager of the rural adult education center in Altenkirchen .

Political party

Always was a member of the GVP in 1952/53. In 1957 he joined the SPD.

MP

Always belonged to the German Bundestag from 1972 to 1987. In the seventh electoral term (1972-1976) he represented the constituency of Neuwied and from the eighth to tenth electoral term (1976-1987) he was drawn into parliament via the state list of the SPD Rhineland-Palatinate .
