Klaus Michaelis

Klaus Michaelis (* 1944 in Gollnow ) was from 1996 to 2005 a member of the management of the largest German pension insurance company, the Federal Insurance Agency for Salaried Employees (BfA) and the German Pension Insurance Association .

Klaus Michaelis graduated from elementary school and grammar school and studied law in Berlin from 1965 to 1970. He spent his legal traineeship at the Berlin Superior Court from 1970 to 1974. Klaus Michaelis then started working at the BfA in the insurance and pension benefits department in Germany and then moved to the BfA's legal office. He stayed there until 1980, when he became head of the National Pension Policy Department. Ten years later he was appointed head of department in the policy department and data protection officer within the BfA. Since July 1, 1996, Klaus Michaelis was director; His area of ​​responsibility included the basic and insurance and pension divisions.

After his retirement, Klaus Michaelis has been working on a voluntary basis at the Social Association Germany since October 2005 .
