Klaus Wojahn

Klaus Wojahn (born February 28, 1935 in Neuhof, Posen Province) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1994 to 2003 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Wojahn attended secondary school in Lüneburg and then completed an apprenticeship as a farmer. After attending various technical schools, he graduated as an agricultural master. In 1961 he joined the CDU, for which he was councilor from 1968 to 1991 and mayor of the community of Gusborn from 1977 to 1981 . He was also on the council of the municipality of Dannenberg, of which he was mayor from 1981 to 1991. He was also a member of the district council in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district , where he was CDU parliamentary group chairman from 1990 to 1994. In addition, from 1981 to 1991 he was deputy district administrator of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. From 1994 to 2003 Wojahn was a member of the state parliament of Lower Saxony, to which he belonged through a direct mandate in the constituency 61 Lüchow-Dannenberg.
