Kleinbahn Sommerhofen-Park
The Kleinbahn Sommerhofen-Park is a garden railway in Sindelfingen that has been in operation since 1980 and on which vehicles with gauges of 89 mm, 127 mm, 144 mm and 184 mm can travel.
In 1984 the circuit was expanded. Between 1988 and 1990 the current route with a length of 850 meters was built. It went into operation for the Baden-Württemberg State Horticultural Show in 1990 and was one of the attractions of this event. During the summer months, the Kleinbahn Sommerhofen-Park is open to the public on Sundays and public holidays. There are steam and diesel locomotives are used, which mainly belong to the association members.
