Kleinbahn Winsen – Niedermarschacht

The narrow-gauge railway Winsen low Marschacht GmbH was the owner of the 18-kilometer railway line Winsen low Marschacht ( "Elbmarsch train"), which was opened on April 1, 1912th It extended to close to the Elbe opposite Geesthacht . The railway was managed by Kleinbahn Winsen-Evendorf-Hützel , which also provided staff and vehicles. From 1933 the Lower Saxony State Small Railway Authority took over the management. On January 1, 1944, the two Winsener Kleinbahnen were merged to form the Winsener Eisenbahngesellschaft , which in turn became part of the East Hanoverian Railways on July 10, 1944 .

The railway line is in operation for freight traffic up to Marschacht.
