As part of the three-winged former Jesuit college , it is separatedfrom the cathedralby the narrow witch's passage .
history
The Jesuit College was brought into being under Bishop Eitel Friedrich von Hohenzollern . The foundation stone of the collegiate church was laid in 1682 in place of an older Paulskapelle, which came from the medieval complex of the cathedral. A substantial part of the chapel was completed in 1685. The chapel burned down as a result of the air raids on Osnabrück in World War II.
The reconstruction took place in the years 1950–59.
Calvary Group
In the western gable of the small chapel is the Kalvarienberggruppe, which was created around 1520. This group originally lived in the former Augustinian monastery on Neumarkt .
