Way of St. James Lesser Poland

The Way of St. James is one of the medieval Way of St. James and part of the Via Regia . The Lesser Poland section was officially reopened on June 25, 2009. Then the route was extended again.

The contemporary section of the Camino de Santiago in a straight line from Sandomierz through Kraków to Oświęcim is 200 kilometers long. There are seven churches of St. Jacob on the way. In Lesser Poland the path is marked with characteristic yellow arrows and pilgrim shells.
