Kleuder

The Kleuder , also just shortened to Kleud , Kleuth and Glied or Stein , was a German weight measure for wool in the Electorate of Hesse with its capital Kassel and weighed 21 (heavy) pounds. In the associated province of Hanau it was 18 pounds of the so-called wool weight.

  • 1 Kleuder = 22.5 pounds (silver weight) = 1051 13/20 grams = 218.88 Aß (Dutch)
  • 5 Kleuder / Link a 21 pounds = 1 quintal with 105 pounds

The silver weight was 467 3/50 grams per "silver pound".
