Kliment von Ohrid Church (Skopje)
The Church of Saint Kliment of Ohrid in Skopje is the largest Macedonian Orthodox church and is dedicated to Saint Kliment of Ohrid . The church is located on Partizanski Odredi , one of the largest streets in Skopje.
The architect of the church was Slavko Brezovski . Construction began in 1972 and the church was consecrated in 1990. It is a rotunda building with a diameter of 36 meters. The church houses icons created by Gjorgji Danevski and Spase Spirovski (* 1926), as well as frescoes by the art professor Jovan Petrov and his colleagues.
