Klootschießer- und Boßelverband North Rhine-Westphalia
The Klootschießer- und Boßelverband Nordrhein-Westfalen (KBV NRW) is the umbrella organization of the Boßelvereine in North Rhine-Westphalia . The registered association based in Düsseldorf was founded in 1980.
The association includes the bosses clubs in Düsseldorf, Bielefeld-Jöllenbeck , Willich , Alt-Willich and Wülfrath . It represents around 400 members. The association organizes a nationwide game operation in Straßenboßeln: a regional league with six teams from three clubs as well as a ranking list throwing (champion tour) for individual throwers.
KBV NRW is one of four associations that take part in the German Championships (DM) in Boßeln, which take place every two years. In 2003 the DM was held in Willich. Because the association was unable to start a youth team at the DM 2009 in Zetel, it only has guest status at the competitions.
