The Cham monastery is a former monastery of the Franciscan Reformates in Cham in Bavaria in the diocese of Regensburg .

history

The St. Bonaventure monastery , later consecrated to Our Lady , was founded in 1631 by Archdechant Johann Wolfgang Hueber; it was dissolved in 1802 in the course of secularization . The church was temporarily used as a warehouse (until 1866). In 1856 a girls' high school for the poor school sisters moved into the monastery building .
