Fontaine Monastery

Fontaine Monastery (in German "Brunnenkloster") is the name of monasteries whose origin i. d. R. is seen in connection with a healing spring , including:

  • Fontaine-les-Blanches Abbey, former Cistercian abbey on the southern edge of the Autrèche commune near Château-Renault in the Indre-et-Loire department in the Center-Val de Loire region
  • Fontaine-Daniel Monastery (Fons Danielis), former Cistercian abbey in the Mayenne department, Pays de la Loire region in France
  • Haute-Fontaine Abbey (Altus Fons, Hautefontaine), former Cistercian abbey in the commune of Ambrières in the Marne department, Champagne-Ardenne region, in France
  • Fontaine-Gérard monastery in Normandy
  • Fontainejean Abbey, former Cistercian abbey in the commune of Saint-Maurice-sur-Aveyron in the Loiret department, Center-Val de Loire region, France
