St. Agnes Monastery (Lauingen)

The monastery of Saint Agnes Lauingen is a former monastery of Cistercian nuns in Lauingen , a town in the Swabian district Dillingen .

history

The monastery consecrated to St. Agnes was founded in 1270 and dissolved in the course of secularization . The plant was sold in 1812.

Part of the building (including the monastery church) was demolished, while another part is now the home of the Lauingen home.
