Störmede Monastery (actually Nazareth Monastery also called Annenkloster) was an Augustinian monastery in Störmede near Geseke . It existed from 1483 until it was repealed in 1804 in the course of secularization in the Duchy of Westphalia .

The founder of the monastery was Philipp von Hörde . The construction of the monastery and church began in 1486.

During the Truchsessischen turmoil the nuns were temporarily expelled in 1583 and the Calvinist order of worship was introduced. After the victory of Elector Ernst von Bayern , the Catholic religion was restored.

In 1683 the community submitted to the Augustinian monastery Ewig . The church was then rebuilt from Rüthener sandstone , but it was not completely finished until 1722. A barn was rebuilt in the 17th century, and a rectory and other farm buildings followed in the 18th century. In 1733 two new gatehouses were built.

After the repeal in 1804, the church was converted into a school from 1819. The church was restored in the 20th century. Today the community hall is located in the former barn.
