The Vallis angelica monastery ( Anielska dolina , "Angel Valley") was a Cistercian monastery founded in 1743 in the Kimbarowka municipality. This is located 3 km northwest of the city of Mazyr on the Pripyat in Homelskaya Woblasz in Belarus . It was near the Cistercian priory of Kimbarowka Monastery, which was built in 1711 .

history

The monastery was founded by Prince Benedykt Różański around 1743. It was abolished in 1883 and in 1888 the buildings were transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church. The church, consecrated to the Archangel Michael , was converted into an Orthodox church between 1893 and 1894. In the 1930s the church was closed and a brewery was set up in the monastery buildings.
