Wolnzach Monastery
The monastery Wolnzach is a former convent of the Capuchins in Wolnzach in Bavaria in the diocese of Regensburg .
history
The monastery was founded in 1726 and dissolved in 1802 in the course of secularization . The convent came to Wasserburg am Inn . The monastery buildings were acquired in 1803 by the Swiss silk ribbon manufacturer, philanthropist, patron and revolutionary Johann Rudolf Meyer from Aarau . But he sold them again in 1804. In 1805 all buildings were demolished and used to build a mill.
Today only the Kapuzinerstraße reminds of the former Wolnzach monastery.
