The Rheintalhaus is on the corner of Klostergasse 1 and Winkelgasse 1 in the Dornbirn district of Markt . The building is a listed building .

The wooden building, built in the style of a Rhine Valley house , was erected around 1700. It is an example of the original farmhouses that are becoming increasingly rare in Dornbirn.

architecture

On the brick basement, which was previously used as a workshop or as a weaving chamber, there is a two-storey wooden block construction in head-knit construction . This part houses the living rooms and the kitchen. Special building details are the wooden wall paneling and the ornamentally cut window frames containing the drawers.
