The Klutina Lake is a lake in the south of Alaska , 60 kilometers north of Valdez .

Klutina Lake is a lake of glacial origin on the north side of the Chugach Mountains . The 68 km² large lake lies at an altitude of 524  m and is located 35 km southwest of Copper Center . The lake is L-shaped. The elongated lake leads from the southern end of the lake 13 km to the north and then turns 13 km to the east. Its width is 2.5 km. The lake is traversed by the Klutina River , a right tributary of the Copper River . The Klutina River and the Hallet River , another tributary that also flows into the southern end of the lake, are fed by glaciers. Another tributary is the Saint Anne Creek , which forms the drain of the Saint Anne Lake located further north . Klutina Lake is accessible from Copper Center via Klutina Lake Road . However, the road requires four-wheel drive.
