Kniven is a lookout point on Mount Aksla in the Norwegian city ​​of Ålesund .

Kniven to the northeast, a little above the Fjellstua viewpoint, is at an altitude of about 157 meters and offers a wide view of Ålesund and the surrounding fjord landscape. Between 1861 and 1863 a wind vane was set up here, which is known as a Kniven ( German  knife ) due to its appearance . A little below the lookout point is the Kristofer Randers monument .
