Aksla is a mountain in the Norwegian town of Ålesund on the island of Nørvøy in the Norwegian province of Møre og Romsdal .

It is 189 meters high and is considered the city's local mountain . The ridge stretches for about 3.5 kilometers from west to east over the island, the northern half of which it largely occupies. From Ålesund City Park , 418 steps lead up to Aksla. It can also be accessed via a road link.

There are viewpoints Fjellstua and Kniven on the mountain . Fjellstua has a dining facility. From here there is a wide view of the city of Ålesund, which lies on three islands, and the fjord landscape that surrounds it . The Kristofer Randers memorial stands between Fjellstua and Kniven .

The staircase to Aksla, which has existed at least since the end of the 19th century, was renovated from August 15, 2014 to May 15, 2015, after the storm Dagmar and falling trees caused damage.

There are several German bunkers from the time of the German occupation of Norway on the mountain .
